Yamitsuki Cabbage: Nicknamed “Addictive Cabbage” this one is often found at Izakaya restaurants like chips are at a Mexican place.
1 ¼ cup cabbage
2T Sesame oil
1T Sesame Seeds
1/2t Chicken bouillon (or Yuki Garasupu if you can find it)
¼ t salt
¼ t Garlic Paste
¼ t Black pepper
Wash the cabbage and cut up into bite sized pieces.
In a bowl mix the other ingredients together then add them to the cabbage.
With clean hands, rub the seasoning all over the leaves and try to distribute it evenly.
Crispy Fried “Seaweed” Cabbage
Another strangely addictive cabbage is “crispy fried seaweed” served in Chinese restaurants in the UK.
Wash the cabbage and dry it, then shred it finely (like seaweed!)
Carefully fry in a wock in small batches until crispy. Then place on a paper towel to cool and drain.
Sprinkle some salt and sugar on top, then serve!
