We've still barely scratched the surface layers of astrology as we've discussed the planets and houses and how those two work together. Today I'm going to talk about the energies that make up the foundation and balance of each zodiac sign. These characteristics are known as the elements, modalities and polarities. As promised, let's continue to break down astro charts by taking a look at the house meanings. When we last spoke, I was quite vocal about not being a fan of sun-sign astrology due to its overused, oversimplification of human experience. We've all seen the clickbait "If You're a [insert sign], You Should Never Date [other sign] Ever Again" Pop astrology is about as useful as a teapot made of chocolate. It looks fancy and sweet, but it doesn't hold up much to the hot water that is the complexity of human life, personality and potential. |
